Internal Accounts Manager


About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and driven Internal Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our existing clients, ensuring their IT needs are met while identifying opportunities for further business development. You will collaborate closely with the external sales team to ensure smooth communication and effective service delivery. In addition, you will manage the procurement process and build strong relationships with all manufacturers / vendors to achieve the best economies for the company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of existing clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Understand client needs and collaborate with the sales and technical teams to propose tailored IT solutions.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximise account growth.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to the sales team on account status, client feedback, and potential business opportunities.
  • Manage quotes, ordering, and contract renewals utilising our MIS – Datto Autotask
  • Address and resolve client issues promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an account management or sales support role, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Familiarity with IT products, services, and solutions is a plus.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
