We are actively seeking a dynamic IT Sales Consultant to join our esteemed team at Elmdale IT Services in Aldermaston, Berkshire.

This fast paced and dynamic role ensures that our customers receive expert knowledge and advice on all aspects of managing and maintaining their Services.

As an IT Sales Consultant, you’ll be:

  • Developing and managing a prospect pipeline, overseeing revenue and new customer acquisition.
  • Collaborating with the department head to formulate sales and marketing strategies.
  • Working with the marketing team to contribute ideas for campaigns and commit to follow-ups.
  • Independently generate leads by making calls and scheduling appointments.
  • Providing account management to clients and upsell services through regular meetings.
  • Achieving self-set KPIs, including appointments set, outbound calls made, proposals delivered, and presentations given.
  • Exploring new business opportunities within the existing client database.

We operate a hybrid working option, which means you will be able to equally split your time between our office in Aldermaston and home once you are fully trained in the role. Team working is so important to us and you will feel the buzz and warm welcome as you come through the doors of our vibrant office based in Berkshire.

This role may also be referred to as IT Account Manager, IT Sales Executive, or IT Business Development Officer in other organisations.

We are looking for an IT Sales Consultant with:

  • 1-2 years or more of sales experience in the Information Technology sector.
  • Ideally, experience in selling IT services, support, or virtual platforms.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, coupled with strong planning and negotiation skills.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent attention to detail.
  • Team player with well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with a variety of clients in an SME environment.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • High personal motivation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and demonstrate client-facing skills.
  • Positive attitude and behaviour, with a trustworthy, credible, and reliable nature.
